Is AP secretely pulling pictures?

These pics were taken by Ben Curtis for AP and posted on August 05, 2006. I wrote to AP demanding an explanation as to what exactly the viewer was looking at. Needless to say that none has been offered so far. Moreover, the pictures have been pulled from Yahoo! news photos in complete secrecy. At the time I saved them on my computer, unfortunately without the original captions (but according to the time stamp, therefore they may not be in the right order). Anyway, they purported to describe the scene of a drone-launched double missile attack during an Israeli commando raid on Tyre. Ben Curtis also mentioned the gun in the "blue-jeans character's" right pocket. As I fail to see any signs of blast or fire damage (except the fire that seems to be started by the "blue jeans character" himself, and is actually ablaze in the first two pictures), I am submitting them for the readers' consideration. And what is that trail of blood in some of the pictures, leading to or from the wounded man, who is obviously alive, as he is raising his hand and face off the ground?

Then there is the rescue operation.
Two more photographers present at the scene are busy shooting away, yet I have been unable to locate their contribution.

And, pour la bonne bouche so to speak, a priceless "cameo" appearance by none other than Green Helmet (exposed by German TV station Norddeutscher Rundfunk and broadcast on Zapp, and discussed at length by EU Blog, Riehl World and Rightwinged) and his ever present ambulance lurking in the background- too late? Or perhaps setting up the scene? The bodies (one obviously alive while being sprayed and doused with some kind of substance) already rescued and in the ambulance? Or waiting to be unloaded and set up as props?

It's up, it's alive!
