Hero able to murder four-year-old and father, but loses bowel control when apprehended

I have just came across this first-hand account of Kuntar's arrest. Apparently, the hero feted last week in Lebanon and on Al-Jazeera (why are they still allowed to broadcast from Israel?) was unable to contain his bowels when he was caught. That much for shattering the myth of the invincible IDF soldier. 27 years later, Hezboloonies captured by IDF (I guess those released toghether with Kuntar included) also had a heavy package in their pants. Way to go boys, malign us as you like, you're still full of shit! Both figuratively but mainly literally! Besides, hero Kuntar was sexually abused and sodomized by his father (which might explain the expensive presents lavished on him, as well as the raging volcano beneath the "quiet, thoughtful child" appearance) and by his Palestinian handlers (no pun intended. Besides, Arafat was a notorious pederast, as may have been some of his cronies and rivals. Although Kuntar was not affiliated with Arafat's gangs, I wouldn't put it past the others - Jibril, Abu-Abbas, Habbash the pediatrician - to have indulged on occasion in what the Arabs view as a legitimate leisure activity - wives for reproduction, animals for relief and boys for pleasure. And that is probably why Kuntar and the others' sphincters may have lost some muscle tone by the time they were ready for a suicide operation in Israel).

Yaakov Marks, an American-born Israeli living in the northern town of Maalot writes about his first-hand encounter with Kuntar:

" As you have seen in news reports from Israel, the majority of Israelis would rather pay an exorbitant price and deal with despicable enemies such as Hezbollah and Hamas to retrieve those who have fought and died for their country since we honor our fallen and captive soldiers.
Now we must pray for "our" Gilad Shalit. But our despicable foes have upped their price since the "victory". So the final question is,"How much are we willing to pay?" "What will be the limit?" This dilemma is tearing us apart. How much would you give if it where your son or daughter? What would you do?
My wife and I suffer this dilemma every Sunday morning, and have been for ten long years as we drop off our third son at the train station in Nahariyah on his way back to his IDF base.
My question to those people of good conscience all over the world and especially those who gleefully attack Israel with their hate filled propaganda is, "Why has the Red Cross never been allowed to visitIsraeli prisoners, especially Gilad Shalit and Ron Arad?" Here is some information to consider.
As to the truth concerning Samir Kuntar, a Druse, born on July 20, 1962 in Abey, Lebanon, please allow me to relate from first hand experience exactly who their brave hero really is. I met the 16.9 year old hate-filled, sexually abused, wild-eyed youth that murdered Dani Harran and his four year old toddler, Einat that night April 22nd, 1979 on the beach in Nahariyah.
I had gone to do my nightly volunteer shift as amember of the Civil Guard in the Meona Police station near Ma'alot in northern Israel. It was a cool night and we could clearly hear the radio communications from Nahariyah. Around 11:30PM, myself andShabbati Alon, the ex-commander of the police in Meona who was now commander of the Civil Guard of Ma'alot, went to visit an Arab acquaintance to drink some strong Arabic coffee. Around 12:10AM we heard Eli Shachar Z"L answer the call for a robbery on Rechov Jabotinsky in Nahariyah. Suddenly there were frantic calls. Alon decided to go towards the scene to clarify what was going on. As an experienced officer and veteran of the 101 unit and an 18-year veteran of the Israeli police he felt that in those first moments his expertise as well as mine as a senior medic were needed, so we drove to the area.
When we arrived on the scene, I witnessed first hand how Samir Kuntar viciously murdered Danny and then grabbed Einat by the arm and hair as he used the butt of his rifle to smash her little skull on the rocks.
Once he had surrendered, sniveling after three of his comrades were killed, he was taken into custody along with his comrade, Ahmed AlAbras. AlAbras would later be freed by Israel in the Jibril Agreement of May 1985.
Standing near Kuntar, I saw how from abject fear of retribution he defecated on himself, whimpered, cried and begged. We could have shot him but the officers said no, he surrendered, leave him alone. Kuntar was pitiful. Later, in order to hide his embarassment, he claimed that since he had been shot he could not have murdered Danny or Einat. I never saw any wound on him.
During my many years in the IDF Reserves, I served as an EMT Master Sergeant of a Medical Unit, unarmed and dressed in a medical white coat, that administered medic care under Red Cross regulations. Our doctors and medics served honorably under the severest conditions of abuse and threats from the prisoners. We served according to the best tradition of the Hippocratic Oath and the motto of the medical corps, "To save Life".
In the routine briefing while reviewing the cases of our prisoners who needed continual treatment, it was recorded in Kuntar's files that during the required pre-imprisonment psychological exam it was determined that he had been a sexually abused and beaten child. He voluntarily admitted the information without any force upon him, how his own father had sodomized him and how as a new young recruit he had repeatedly been sodomized by his friends in the Palestine Liberation Front (PLF) camp of Rashadiyah, Lebanon, near Tyre before the terrorist attack in 1979. Furthermore, we learned that as a young Lebanese Druse the Palestinians taunted him consistently as theyq uestioned his loyalty to the cause.
Later, while one of the doctors and I were administering treatment to Kuntar, he readily verified this information freely during treatment. His fair and conscientious medical care was in glaring contrast to how Israeli POWs are treated.
When we older reservists served in the prison we attempted to bring sanity to an insane situation. Many of us were against the occupation and the persecution of the Palestinians. From our code of treatment we were respected by the members of Fatah and the Democratic Front who argued and fought the Jihadists and Hamas. Many times they would warn us of attempts to harm us. We respected them and were respected inturn.
In the prison camps were we served there were cases of murder between rival gangs. Gang rape, brutal sodomy, torture and all forms of physical abuse by their own cellmates were a daily occurrence. Many times when homosexuals were discovered by their cellmates they would be abused and tortured to death, their screams muffled by socks filled with bread dough stuffed brutally down their throats by their torturers. The torturers comitted horrid atrocities against those they felt were spies. The worst was how they would treat young boys, just as they had done to Kuntar.
The hypocrites of Children`s Defense International (Palestine Section) imply that it is Israeli soldiers performing illegal acts and mistreating Palestinian prisoners. Just for their information, most of those guarding the Palestinians are reservists. If this human rights group had even the slightest knowledge of Israel they would know that 99.5%+ of all reservists are not interested in losing their personal freedom to even care about the Palestinians prisoners they are guarding. The reservists would sit in guard towers or patrol outside the fenced areas waiting to finish as soon as possible and go home.
The only ones allowed to touch prisoners were medics and doctors. Every week entire families would come to the prison to visit and bring food items. These same elementary rights that till today have always been denied our prisoners held by the Arabs, Hamas orHezbollah are a daily occurrence in Israeli prisons.
Let me state that many Palestinians in the camps suffered from multiple maladies before they were arrested. Many ofthem owe my medics and especially our doctors a deep debt of gratitude for the humanitarian care we gave them 24 hours a day, seven daysa week. We lived like them in the same sweltering conditions in the summer and in the freezing cold of winter. We treated and cared for them 24 hours a day, seven days a week and there where times where they even honoredus. So for these critics of Israel, they may tell their vicious lies that belittle me and my dedicated medical personnel. Yet it is these same doctors who in civilian life care for them and their families in our hospitals. These same hospitals in the area of Ashkelon in the south that have been threatened by Qassam rockets have unselfishly treated Gazans for years. Just like the hospitals in Nahariyah and Safed that treated Arab Israelis and Lebanese but were hit by Hezbollah Katyushas during the Second Lebanon War.
In conclusion, please note that though a captive in our Israeli prisons Samir earned a university degree, received medical care, Red Cross visits and privileges. He ate good food, as evidenced by his obesity and enjoyed his moments with his friends.
Years later, during another reserve duty stint I remember seeing the new hero of the Palestinians and Hezbollah. He was overweight, suffering from hyperuricema, diabetes mellitus, dyspnea and severe water retention from his hypertension. Some hero."

Iraqi young woman undergoes heart catheterization in Rambam Hospital, Haifa

Yonathan Halili
Ma'ariv

There are three Iraqis receiving medical treatment in the Rambam Hospital in Haifa, Israel as we speak. A 30-year-old Iraqi woman underwent cardiac catheterization in order to seal an atrial septal defect. The entire procedure, performed by Dr. Avraham Lorber, was watched by a group of senior Israeli cardiologists attending a National Cardiology Seminar on invasive cardiology at Haifa's largest hospital. The young Muslim woman's identity was kept secret, or the life-saving procedure performed in Israel might cost her her life.
She was referred for treatment in Israel by the Shevet Achim group, a Christian organization who helps residents of Arab countries travel to Israel for medical treatment, in attempt to bridge gaps and bring Muslim and Jews together.
Two more Iraqi patients are currently being treated in Rambam: a two month-old baby who had surgery two weeks ago and a child who had surgery today.

I wanted my unborn son to be a shaheed

Like I said, Jewish mothers want their sons to be doctors, lawyers, engineers, painters, pianists, or something like that when they grow up. I thought Palestinian mothers wanted their sons to be terrorists or suicide bombers when they grow up. I was wrong: they don't want their children to grow up. In fact they don't want them to be born at all. There is no way, no way we did to them what the Nazis did to us, yet we would never send our children, mothers or ourselves to kill innocent civilians in Germany. There is something very wrong with the Palestinians, something bordering on severe mental disease. Plus they lie through their teeth like there is no tomorrow. Please watch out for: physicians in Gaza issue fake medical documents for human bombs. Nursing staff in Ramallah hospital assist and support terrorist activities. Arabs residing in Jerusalem and Beer-Sheva are willing to assist suicide bombers. The two devils' whores never said anything about being relieved that they didn't kill Israelis, civilian or military.

Fatma Zeck, a 39-year-old mother of eight, and pregnant with her ninth child, lives in Sajjaiyah, Gaza. Her niece, Roda Habib is 30 years old and a mother of four. They were on their way to a double suicide bombing in Israel. They left Gaza for Ramallah where suicide belts would be waiting for them. Then they were to blow themselves up in Tel-Aviv and Netanya, respectively.
Luckily the Shabak arrested them at the Erez crossing, in the nick of time. Suit has been filed against them in the Beer-Sheva District Court.
Zeck and Habib and are not the first Islamic Jihad women activists to be apprehended minutes before the carnage. The transcript of their interrogation provides a good insight into the reasons why Gaza women, married with children, are eager to sacrifice themselves for the Palestinian struggle. In addition, the two also revealed how they forged medical documents to gain passage into Israel, and also how they recruited other suicide bombers, mainly female students.

"Two months ago, my son Mahmoud came to me and told me that he wanted to martyr himself in Israel", Zeck told the police and the Shabak. He was planning to infiltrate Israel from the Sinai. He drilled crawling and other military skills. At the same time a student from Zeitoun told me she was interested in becoming a suicide bomber in Israel. I referred her to one of the Islamic Jihad activists. He took pictures of her and promised to get back to her. I was planning to blow myself up 4-5 months ago. I wanted to kill Jews as allah ordered us, that is by sacrificing myself to allah. I contacted Hisham al-Ajla from Sajjaiya, who is in charge of Islamic Jihad public relations in Gaza. I had met him four years earlier, when I worked in the Islamic Jihad employment office for women in Gaza. He is a friend of Mahmoud. My niece Roda also wanted commit a suicide bombing in Israel. Four months ago I took Roda to see a doctor whose name I forget, so he could give us letters to enter Israel. We asked the doctor to help us blow ourselves up. We sent the letters to the authorities and obtained entry permits via the Erez crossing for medical treatment. Then we met with Mahmoud and Hisham. Hisham videotaped me and Roda, separately and together, holding hand grenades, shotguns and korans. We recited our last will in front of the camera, we said our names and declared that we wanted to martyr ourselves. Then we went home."

Zeck goes on to say how Islamic Jihad handlers trained her and her niece for the "operation": "Hisham told me about two months ago that I have to learn how to shoot, so that I won't be afraid. I practiced on an M-16 rifle and a Kalashnikov. He also showed me how to assemble and dismantle them. Roda and I also learned how to shoot rockets. Then Abu-Sajjad showed us how to detonate an explosives belt. He told us that the belt looks like a zipper vest. He had already sent a suicide bomber into Israel, but he failed because he didn't know how to detonate it. He also said that the vests were made of cotton, they were very light and easy to put on and take off. He showed us how it was wired, and how to connect the wires in order to detonate it. We were to look at the "on" and "off" buttons. He advised us to wear long sleeved dresses, so that the wires wouldn't show. Then he videotaped us again, and I urged the people of Gaza, Hamas and Fatah, to stop killing one another, to unite and behave like brothers. There was a young man there, Abu-Abdallah. He said that if we had any trouble with the vests, his relatives in Jerusalem would help us ready ourselves for the bombing. Abu-Sajjad instructed us to say we were going to Ram-el-Arabiyah hospital in Ramallah, where two nurses (male and female) would assist us. Also a business man, whose name I don't know, was to take us to a hotel after we did some x-rays. The plan was that the business man would drive us to where we would blow ourselves up.
Abu-Sajjad said we didn't need to know the names of those who were to assist us. When we left for the Erez crossing, I put a small prayer book in my purse along with some money and some clothes. After that we were arrested by the Shabak. They ordered us to take our clothes off and to wear clothes that they gave us. They treated us well. We told them the whole truth."
Zeck told the investigators that she came up with the idea of the double bombing, in Tel-Aviv and Netanya, at the entrance to a shopping mall, in a restaurant or a soldiers' hitchhike post. The operators gave the two women 3,000 NIS (~700 USD) for food and taxi fare. She also revealed how the Islamic Jihad appointed her head (princess) of the propaganda (preaching) committee of the organization. The investigators asked Zeck whether she wanted an abortion, so as not to be delivered as a prisoner. Zeck: "My friend and I wanted to go to heaven as soon as possible. There is nothing more for us in this world. When my son is born, he will also be a shaheed."

Habib, the second terrorist, admits that she dreamt of commiting a suicide bombing in Israel for a long time, because of Israeli actions against the residents of Gaza: "Fatma called and told me that Abu-Sajjad agreed to dispatch me on a suicide mission in Israel. My cover for gaining entry into Israel was the need to undergo urgent surgery in the Ramallah hospital. He took me to a doctor friend of his who drew up forged documents. The next day my aunt Fatma and I received SIM cards from the activists, so that we could call when we reached the hospital. Abu-Sajjad said that someone was going to meet us at the hospital, give us the vests, and explain to us once again how to detonate them. I took my kuran so I could pray on the way. I agreed to blow myself up on behalf of the shaheeds and prisoners held in Israeli jails. Abu-Sajjad also told us that another girl he had sent to Israel had failed and had to return to Gaza. Fatma is a coordinator between the Islamic Jihad terror wing and the girls willing to martyr themselves. A 20-year-old mother of a little child volunteered for a suicide mission, but the organization rejected her because she was too young. Abu-Sajjad assured us that in case we failed, we would be able to return to Gaza without any problem. My husband wouldn't hear about the bombing. He pleaded with me to stay home, for the sake of the children, but I told him I my mind was made up."
Habib told the investigators that she was instructed to travel to Beer-Sheva where someone would be waiting with the vests: "Abu-Abdallah's relatives in Beer-Sheva were willing to assist suicide bombers, and they would give us the vests. Abu-Sajjad claimed responsibility for the Eilat bakery bombing where three people were killed in a suicide bombing. Fatma and I were instructed to blow ourselves up in a restaurant, market, cafe, bus stop, or wherever we saw crowds of Jews. Fatma suggested we go to Tel-Aviv, because there would be many soldiers. Fatma's son wanted to shoot at soldiers near the Sinai. Abu-Abdallah instructed us to be faithful to the organization and not divulge secrets of te organization or betray our handlers. He explained that the vests contained liquid explosives and ball bearings and promised that we would go to heaven. We had to blow ourselves in different locations. Our operator had to decide which of us was to go first."
During the interrogation, the two said they regretted their deeds.
Habib: "The members of the organization made cynical use of us. I am sorry about what happened".
Zeck: "When in court I asked the judges to forgive me for what I did and I thank allah that I am alive. I made a big mistake. I am the one to blame. I am very happy that my niece and I are alive and that our children are not motherless."

How humane do I have to be? A couple of hundred of Palestinians are stranded in the Erez crossing sleeve or tunnel. They want Israel to let them travel to Ramallah. How? How? Young Palestinian men = terrorists.
Palestinian women (even pregnant ones) = terrorists
Palestinian children = we all saw their kindergarten horror shows.
Palestinians working for Doctors without Borders = terrorists.
Palestinian doctors and nurses = terrorists.
Why should we let them travel to Ramallah? So they can pick up explosives vests and blow themselves up in Israel?

Iraqi baby receives medical treatment in Haifa

Moran Katz
Ma'ariv, May 21, 2007

Three week-old Sam Mahmoud had life-saving surgery at Rambam Hospital in Haifa. The Iraqi baby-boy was born with a heart malformation that required a five-hour long surgical intervention. "Shevet Achim", the Christian organization operating in Northern Iraq assisted in transferring the baby to the Meir Paediatric Cardiology Department of the Rambam Medical Center in Haifa. Dr. Avraham Lorber, senior paediatric cardiologist, said that the child would have died of his condition had the surgery been postponed any longer. "I did not hesitate for a moment when I heard I had to travel to Israel", says Shilat, the child's mother. "We received a heartfelt welcome here and I am very happy that my son is recovering."

Saudi woman receives medical treatment in Jerusalem Hospital

by Efrat Zemer
Ma'ariv (this week)

Medicine can step in and bridge gaps before diplomatic ties are established and in fact even in the absence of a state of peace, or so seems to be the case of A., a 42-year-old Saudi woman who had been plagued for years by an ear condition.

She consulted the best doctors money could buy (lots of money, actually) in clinics as far away as Germany and the USA, but to no avail.

A. was diagnosed with tinnitus, a most annoying and continuous pain and ringing in the ears. When she had enough of the unsuccessful treatment she received in Germany and the US, she decided to give google a try, and she found the Hadassah Medical Center in Jerusalem site, where she read about the successes of Dr. Zacharia Shemesh, senior ENT consultant specializing in tinnitus and about his intensive therapeutic approach. Although a possible course of treatment was so close at hand, A. quickly realized that it wouldn't be quite so easy for her to travel from Saudi Arabia to the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel. She would need a great deal of paperwork and special permits.

Hospital sources confirmed yesterday (dang, I should be more careful with the dates) that "A. contacted the Hadassah Hospital Medical Tourism Department, and following tedious and secretive efforts, she was allowed to arrive in Israel via a third country - Jordan. She received the necessary treatment and is feeling much better."

Two days ago A. was discharged from hospital in very good condition and is now on her way home.
